Who We Are
Designed to impart a deeper understanding of the meaning and significance of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, Singing with the Spirit is aimed at each individual who desires to worship in spirit and in truth. If you are a song leader or not, this ministry will enrich your knowledge of the songs we sing.
Although this ministry has existed for several years, Myron has recently been blessed to be able to focus on SwtS full-time and spread joy, love, and understanding through song throughout the brotherhood.
Myron Bruce - Founder/Director
Myron and his wife, Vicki, live in Oklahoma City, OK. They have been married for 35 years, each growing up in the church (Texas and Colorado). They have three children with families of their own. Their son, Logan, and his wife Courtney live in Whitehouse, Texas and have two children, Emerly and Parker. Emili, their daughter, and her husband Dalton Todd live in Brookhaven, Mississippi with their daughter Gwendolynne and another arriving in late June 2025. Their son, Dillon and his wife Emily, live in Wylie, Texas with their daughter Ryleigh.
Myron has over 40 years of ministerial experience serving as involvement minister, leading worship and pulpit minister. He has served the Lord’s church in Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma and now across the country. His passion for the Lord’s church comes in equipping others to better understand our worship by having a better understanding of what we are singing (I Cor 14:15).
